OP, have you checked any Lilith build guides on Youtube? I found those really helpful to figure out how I wanted to play Lilith and how to use my skillpoints. Sounds like you're still pretty early in the game (sorry) but Lilith really does shine the more you play her. By Playthrough 2 and 2.5 she's untouchable.

I actually went through the Control tree first, took dramatic entrance then respecced to inner glow when I hit Mind games. Daze is godly in this game, especially for an upclose Firefly build.Phasewalk is just so, so useful - spend points in reducing cooldown, and restoring health when you are in phasewalk. Spend points in increasing your shield capacity, damage caused by weapons, accuracy etc. You can experiment. Once you have spent skill points, tried it out and not liked the result - just respec.
